Hazrat Abu Saeed Khudri (R) narrates that Nabi (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) said, “Whosoever who clothes another Muslim who had nothing to wear, Allah will clothe him from the green clothing of Jannah. Whosoever feeds a Muslim who is hungry, Allah will feed him from the fruit of Jannah. Whosoever quenches the thirst of another Muslim who is thirsty, Allah will give him to drink from the sealed nectar. (Abu Dawood)

Hazrat Abu Hurairah (R) narrates that Nabi (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) said, “Whosoever alleviates the calamity of a Muslim, Allah will create two compartments of light for him at the bridge (Sirat over Jahannam), which will brighten up the whole world. No one besides Allah knows its number. (Tabrani)

Hazrat Abu Hurairah (R) narrates that Nabi (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) said, “Allah will say on the Day of Qiyamah, 'O son of Adam! I was sick and you did not visit Me?' The son of Adam will say, 'O my Rabb! How could I visit You whereas You are the Rabb of the worlds.' Allah will reply, 'Did you not know that a certain slave of Mine was sick but you did not visit him? Had you visited him, you would have found Me there.’

O son of Adam! I asked you for food but you did not feed Me?' The son of Adam will say, O my Rabb! How could I feed You whereas You are the Rabb of the worlds.' Allah will reply, 'Did you not know that a certain slave of Mine was hungry but you did not feed him? Had you fed him, you would have found Me there.'

O son of Adam! I was thirsty but you did not quench My thirst?' The son of Adam will say, O my Rabb! How could I quench Your thirst whereas You are the Rabb of the worlds.' Allah will reply, 'Did you not know that a certain slave of Mine was thirsty but you did not quench his thirst? Had you quenched his thirst, you would have found Me there.'” (Muslim)
