Such requests are sometimes quite urgent. It is a forgone conclusion that receiving, even the basic service(s) from the State medical facilities, be they: -
District Hospitals (Large and Small),
Provincial Tertiary Hospitals,
Regional Hospitals,
Specialised hospitals,
Hospitals attached to Tertiary Institutions,
Primary Health Care Centres (PHCCs),
Minor Community Centres (MCCs), and other
Medical Help Centres (MHCs)
--- is an enormous challenge for the public. It is for this reason that, not only, the poor and the disadvantaged people, but even the so-called middle class are forced to seek medical help, especially in emergency cases from private medical facilities.
DHC attempts to assist such requests in the best possible way. This is done despite severe constraints on its monthly budget and constant welfare requests.
Hereunder is a letter of thanks, from one such case.

Re: LETTER OF APPRECIATION OF ASSISTANCE
I Saleem residing at Newcastle hereby express my gratitude and appreciation to DARUL IHSAN HUMANITARIAN SERVICES for assisting me and my family. I was in a serious dilemma financially whilst my wife was in hospital to treat a Tumour on the brain and my 12-year-old daughter has skin problem.
It was the first time that I reached out to an institution for assistance and Darul Ihsan Humanitarian fulfilled my need.
I pray that Allah raise and increase Darul Ihsan Humanitarian SERVICE and that the organisation move from strength to fulfil its objectives in serving the people of South Africa.
Jazz Allah khairan
Salaam Alaikum
SALEEM
