The love for Allah Ta’ala is in reality Tawheed (Oneness). In addition, it is the originality of our worship. The heart is never in peace and never satisfied except in His worship & His love. Tawheed cannot be achieved without the servant loving Allah Ta’ala. Allah Alone is our Rabb, our Creator upon whom we are entitled to worship before even considering the infinite bounties granted to us and the unlimited compassion and kindness shown to us. Hence, it is incumbent on every sensible person to recognise Allah Ta’ala.
Hazrat Abu Darda (RA) reported that Rasulullah (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) said: "Whoever commits to memory the first ten Ayat of the Surah Al-Kahf, will be protected from (the trial of) Dajjal.'' (Sahih Muslim)

The Sahaba (RA) were indeed honoured by the presence and companionship of our beloved Nabi (Salallahu Alayhi Wasallam). They (Sahaba) form the first most prestigious grouping from the three groupings mentioned by Nabi (Salallahu Alayhi Wasallam).
Nabi (Salallahu Alayhi Wasallam) said, “The best of people are those during my time (the Sahaba) and thereafter those following them (the Taibeen) and thereafter those following them (the Tabe Tabieen)”. (Bukhari)
Hazrat Abu Qalaba (RA) – a high-ranking Tabie gives a simple definition to the three best of groupings respectively of status.
1. Whoever visited Nabi (Salallahu Alayhi Wasallam) in the state of Iman in called a Sahabi.
2. Whoever in the state of Iman visited a Sahabi is called a Taibi.
3. Whoever in the state of Iman visited a Taibi is called a Tabe Taibe.
The esteem ranking of the above three groupings is undoubtedly and indisputably the best among the Ummah after Nabi (Salallahu Alayhi Wasallam).

The ahadtih of our beloved Nabi (Salallahu Alayhi Wasallam) encourages us of a number of deeds (Aamaal) which on the Day of Qiyaamat will be a means of increased Noor.
Some of these deeds are:
1) Check and rectify your intention behind their use - is it to promote good, to idle away your time or to spread mischief
2) Ensure your post does not include backbiting, tale-bearing, personal rantings\frustrations or unfounded allegations.
From coffee to cheques and the three-course meal, the Muslim world has given us many innovations that we take for granted in daily life. As a new exhibition opens, Paul Vallely nominates 20 of the most influential- and identifies the men of genius behind them
At a recent Majlis programme in Durban Mufti Zubair Bayat, the Amir of Darul Ihsan Centre, said that recent occurrence of a magnitude 4 earth tremor in Johannesburg is evidence that earth is ‘dissatisfied with the actions of those who inhabit it.’
Its seems as if everyone has something to argue about these days. Arguing is a waste of precious time and a diversion of shaytaan, from carrying out good deeds or rendering services to Deen.
Q: Is there any specific Dua or Zikr to be made on 10th Muharram? Some say that Ayatul Kursi should be recited 360 times and Hasbunallahu Wa Nimal Wakeel 70 etc.? Is there any basis to this? Also is it true that if you spend on your family on this day you will get Barakah for the entire year?
Muslims have made enormous contributions to civilization, perhaps due to the heavy emphasis that Islam places on knowledge. People who forget or blatantly ignore major trends or events in world history can be said to suffer from “historical amnesia.”
Hazrat Luqman (AS), accompanied by his son, set out on a journey to meet Hazrat Lut (AS). During the course of the journey the animal they rode on died.
Islām is a way of life sent by Allāh ta‘ālā for the guidance of mankind, and it is the key to success in both worlds. Something that holds such significance holds great importance; hence, it is of great value and therefore needs to be protected at all costs.
To assess how much of value you're getting out of something, you've got to first know how much it's costing you.
