The event began with a warm welcome by Social Worker, Meriam Mkhize, followed by Qiraat by Apa Aisha Memi. Guest speaker, Apa Aadila Kharsany delivered an insightful session on the Fiqh of Marriage, highlighting key aspects of the marital relationship from the lives of the wives of Nabi ﷺ and the Sahabiyya (RA). Social Worker, Fathima Moolla followed with her presentation, Achieving Eternal Bliss, focusing on principles of Sakinah (tranquility), Mawaddah (love) and Rahma (mercy) in marriage.
Attendees then enjoyed refreshments and took part in a group-based reflective activity called Reflection Circles, which encouraged open sharing and introspection.
Alhamdulillah, the event was well-received. Attendees expressed appreciation for the depth and relevance of the topics covered. Although time did not allow for a live Q&A session, participants were encouraged to submit their questions in writing, and a detailed Q&A document with responses is being shared post-event.
The workshop concluded on a note of unity and upliftment, leaving participants inspired to implement positive change within their relationships and homes.
We extend our gratitude to all the attendees for their presence, patience, and participation. A heartfelt thank you also goes out to our dedicated team of volunteers for their efforts in making this event a success.
These are some of the feedback received:
